About Tech & Talk
Patient help for people who do not live and breathe technology.
Tech & Talk exists to make ordinary technology feel less intimidating, one practical problem at a time.
Why Tech & Talk exists
Many people use phones, tablets, computers and online services every day without ever feeling truly comfortable with them. A small problem can become frustrating, and asking for help can sometimes feel embarrassing.
These workshops are designed around a simple idea: bring the device you use and the problem you actually want to solve. There is no fixed level you need to reach before attending and no pressure to keep up with a class.
What the workshops feel like
They take place in a relaxed home setting in Alwoodley, Leeds, with a maximum of six people. Tea, coffee and light refreshments are included. Questions are encouraged, explanations use ordinary language, and everyone gets time to practise.
No sales pitch
Tech & Talk is not built around selling devices, subscriptions or unnecessary upgrades. The aim is to help you understand and make better use of what you already have.
